Transport & LogisticsProtrac iD enables the tracking of vehicles in and out of warehouses and identifies loads en route, monitoring location and progress. Identifying individual loads by trailer and verifying that the correct load was being towed by the correct prime mover to the correct destination is now a possible application. All data is fully integrated through the trucks on-board computer and through the overall logistics data control system. |
Asset / Vehicle Tag The Protrac iD series of Active Tags are powered by an internal lithium battery. The tag will, for the duration of its life, transmit a Radio Frequency signal at a pre-set time interval. The tag life is estimated at 5 years at a transmission time interval of approximately 1.5 seconds. |
